Website Description : On August 23rd, 2016 at approximately 10am upgrades where being performed on the outdoor siren system we encountered an accidental activation.  E.M.A. tries to conduct testing/upgrade of system on days with no inclement weather in the forecast.  There have been some inquiries as to when the sirens would sound and for what reason, the sirens are for tornado weather warnings only.  Unless it is the scheduled monthly test, the 1st Wednesday of the month at 12pm, or testing due to repairs or upgrades.
